How do I know what kind of disinfectant I need?

Your choice of disinfectants should be used based what you are trying to disinfect. Disinfectants are formulated to work against specific bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

For general disinfecting, we recommend Champion Sprayon® Spray Disinfectant (438-5157). It is effective against a broad range of microbes (including the Pandemic 2009 (H1N1) Influenza A Virus) and can be used as a space deodorizer. For bathrooms, we recommend Champion Sprayon® Foaming Cleaner (438-5196) because it removes mold and mildew. For high-risk areas (like emergency or surgery rooms), we recommend Champion Sprayon® Phenol Disinfectant (438-5160).
